Nai Harn Beach
Nai Harn beach is one of the nicest Phuket beaches and is located on the south side of Phuket. Nai Harn beach can easily be reached in under 15 minutes from Rawai beach.
Phuket Beach
Nai Harn beach is a beautiful and quiet Phuket beach and one of the great things about the beach at Nai Harn is that the beach area has not really been developed yet as has happened in most Phuket resort areas such as Karon beach, Patong and Kamala beach. Nai harn beach is about one kilometre in length and there are a number of Nai Harn beach restaurants along the beach at Nai Harn as well as several beach chair rental places.
If you are staying at a Phuket hotel or resort at one of the other Phuket beaches then you should really try to go for a day trip to Nai Harn beach. You
wont regret it as the beach and water are both very clean and you can enjoy a peaceful day at the beach without herds of tourists and Phuket beach vendors.
Nai Harn Beach Hotel
There are few Phuket hotel options at Nai Harn beach with the main Nai Harn beach hotel being the Nai Harn Le Meridien. This deluxe Nai Harn beach hotel is located directly on Nai Harn beach and the remaining beach front at Nai Harn is owned by a local temple which rejects any form of new businesses being build along the beach front.
This Phuket temple protects the remaining Nai Harn beach front agaisn commercialisation so that this Phuket beach remains largely in the original state and undeveloped.
There is a good swell of the Andaman sea at Nai Harn beach however the sea at Nai harn is not suitable for surfing. During the rainy season which is from May until November there can be strong currents so please follow any instructions from the lifeguards and please do not swim in the sea in case there are any red flags on the flag poles.
If you would like to enjoy a truly relaxing holiday on Phuket and are not visiting Phuket for its famous nightlife then please do consider staying at a Nai Harn beach hotel as you can experience a peaceful and quiet holiday at Nai Harn beach.
